A division bench of Andhra Pradesh high court has posted an appeal filed by former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin challenging the judgment of the trial court refusing to set aside the life ban imposed on him by the Board of Control for Cricket in India for January 7.
Azharuddin also sought an interim direction to the BCCI to allow him to play domestic cricket. The appeal came up before the division bench, comprising Justice B Prakash Rao and Justice C H S R K Prasad on Thursday. The bench posted the matter to January 7.
