David Warner is suffering from dizzy spells after being struck on the head by a bouncer from Indian paceman Umesh Yadav during the third Test but the Australian opener says he is "fit" to play the fourth match starting in Adelaide on January 24.
However, Warner now has been cleared by CA medical staff though he had suffered a blow on his elbow as well.
"I'm a bit battered and bruised. I might have played if I wasn't hit on the head and the elbow," Warner told Sky Sports Radio.
"It was more my call with the physio Alex (Kountouris) saying it's better off that I rest and recover from the injury so I'm fit for the next Test. I'm still getting a little bit dizzy. It was a good knock, I should have kept my eye on the ball," he added.
Warner had scored an attacking 180 in Australia's comprehensive an innings and 37-run win at Perth.
