Pacer Peter Siddle's hamstring injury notwithstanding, Australia announced an unchanged 12-member squad for the third and final Test against the West Indies, starting December 16 in Perth.
"The National Selection Panel on Wednesday announced an unchanged squad of 12 players for the third Test match in Perth, following upon a very hard-fought draw in the Adelaide Test," NSP chairman Andrew Hilditch said.
Siddle's hamstring injury, which he picked during the Adelaide Test, is a concern, but Hilditch said the pacer should recover in time for the series' final match.
"Peter Siddle's fitness will be assessed daily leading up to the match and we are hopeful he will recover in time to take his place in the side for what should be an exciting climax to the three-match Test series," he said.
"Peter underwent a scan today which has cleared him of any serious damage. He will continue to be treated and monitored before a final decision will be made on his availability to play," added Australian physiotherapist Alex Kountouris.
Australia lead the series 1-0 after winning the opening match in Brisbane.
The squad: Ricky Ponting (c), Michael Clarke (vc), Doug Bollinger, Brad Haddin, Nathan Hauritz, Mike Hussey, Mitchell Johnson, Simon Katich, Clint McKay, Marcus North, Peter Siddle, Shane Watson.
