"Pujara is fit and will play in the Test," confirmed Shikhar Dhawan, who will also make his Test debut in the match.

Pujara, who was hit on his left leg on Tuesday, underwent light practice in the nets.

Meanwhile, Dhawan also confirmed that he has been named in the Indian playing eleven for the third Test.

Dhawan will replace Virender Sehwag, who was dropped after the second Test following a run of poor scores.

"I was told this morning by the coach and captain and I am very happy," he said.
