Virender Sehwag, who scored 59 in India's first innings on Day 2 of the first Test against Australia on Saturday, has now scored a fifty in 11 consecutive Tests.
With this he equalled the world record of scoring at least a fifty in most consecutive Tests.
The dashing Indian opener shares this world record with West Indies' Viv Richards and fellow-teammate Gautam Gambhir.
