India's batting mainstay Virat Kohli was all intensity at practice just before start of the match between India and Pakistan in Pallekele on Saturday.
And much was expected from the former captain when he came out to bat at No 3 at the fall of Rohit Sharma's wicket.
Naseem Shah bowled some zingers and got the ball to swing away from Kohli, who left and got a leading edge off the next, closing the face of the bat early.
Kohli started off with some promise with his signature cover drive off a wide full delivery for a boundary to get off the mark in some style.
The next ball is closer to the stumps as Kohli defended it back to the bowler.
Shaheen Afridi then continued from the other end. Shubman Gill pushed the first ball into the off-side for a single before Afridi struck again with the big wicket of Kohli.
Kohli hung his bat outside the off-stump but only ended up dragging it back on to his stumps to be bowled for four off 7.
