All-rounder Abhishek Nayar will lead a 15-member Mumbai squad in the Shafi Darashah Tournament to be played from July 27 to August 14 at Mysore, Mumbai Cricket Association announced in Mumbai on Saturday.
"We decided to send the Mumbai team to get match practice in the monsoon season. We are taking part in the tournament for the first time," MCA Joint Secretary, Nitin Dalal, said.
MCA, meanwhile, also announced its list of 'A' team probables for the season.
Squad: Abhishek Nayar (captain), Iqbal Abdullah (vice captain), Kaustubh Pawar, Swapnil Salvi, Surya Kumar Yadav, Hiken Shah, Praful Waghela, Aditya Tare, Neelkanth Parab, Sagar Gorivale, Oninder Singh Gill, Dhawal Kulkarni, Kshemal Waingankar, Balwinder Singh Sandhu (Jr.) and Rakesh Prabhu.
