Shanto, the only Bangladesh batter to hit a half-century in the first Test, looks solid once again.

Shanto solid in defence against Ashwin as he keeps out the first two balls before clipping the third through square leg for two runs.

With lunch around 8-10 minutes away, Shanto not looking to risk the sweeps as he keeps out the rest of the over with a straight bat.

Bumrah to bowl the fourth over of his second spell. Mominul was quite shaky at the start of the innings but with time spent at the crease he is looking much more assured.

Bangladesh are 74/2 in 26 overs at lunch on Day 1.

This has been a solid partnership between Shanto and Mominul to revive Bangladesh as they put on 45 from 83 balls for the third wicket.

Shanto looked solid on 28 from 48 balls, while Haque was unbeaten on 17 from as many deliveries.

Akash Deep took both wickets to fall in the session. Zakir Hasan was caught at gully for a 20-ball duck, with Jaiswal taking a superb catch.

Shadman Islam was given out leg before wicket on the review for 24.
