We are back with the second session. Bangladesh will be looking towards their pacers to strike early after lunch, while India need Pant and Jaiswal to continue batting in the same vein.
Mahmud, who took three wickets in the morning session, starts off with the ball in the second session.
The first ball is slanted across Jaiswal leaves the back of length ball. He taps the next on the off-side and wants a quick single but Pant not interested.
He offers no shot to the next two balls before pushing the fifth on the off-side and leaves the last ball.
Nahid Rana from the other end. The field is set for the short ball against Pant, who doesn't mind playing the pull and hook.
Pant does well to guide the third ball to thirdman for one and Jaiswal misses the clip and is hit on the pads as he collects a leg bye.
Rana oversteps to concede a no-ball and an extra run. That was clocked at 150kph as Rana made the extra effort but the overstepping ruined it all and Pant pushes the next on the leg side for one.
Jaiswal is beaten by the extra bounce as he looks to cut Rana through point.
In the next over, Pant gets on top of the bounce as he slashes the short wide ball from Mahmud through point for a four.
But Mahmud gets revenge next ball as Pant goes for the cut shot playing way away from his body to be caught behind for 39.
A lazy waft from Pant who just threw his bat at the very last second. He looked in two minds and just pushed his bat at it, but got the bottom edge. Pant not happy with the choice of shot as he walks back disappointed.
A fourth wicket for the hardworking Mahmud, who has taken 4/18 in 8.3 overs, as India slip to 96/4.
K L Rahul gets off the mark with a single from the last ball of the over.
