November 24, 2024

And here it is- the final player in marquee set 1: Rishabh Pant. The excitement in Jeddah is palpable, with the crowd erupting in cheers as the bidding kicks off.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) make the first move, but Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are quick to join the fray, setting the stage for a fierce battle. Paddles are rising fast at both the RCB and LSG tables as the competition intensifies.

Pant is the complete package: a captain, a destructive batter, and a top-class wicketkeeper.

The bid soars past Rs 5 crore in no time, with the race showing no signs of slowing down.

This is one auction war that promises to keep everyone on the edge of their seats.

The battle for Rishabh Pant intensifies as Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) push the bid to Rs 17 crore. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) quickly respond with Rs 17.25 crore, keeping the pressure on. The auction room in Jeddah is on fire as the bid accelerates, and in the blink of an eye, it shoots up to Rs 20 crore.

SRH take the lead at Rs 20 crore, but the drama doesn't stop there. The bid climbs to Rs 20.75 crore, and then Delhi Capitals (DC) execute their Right To Match (RTM) card, bringing them back into contention.

Finally, LSG make their move with a bold Rs 27 crore bid, solidifying Pant's place as one of the highest-paid players in IPL history. The bidding war is over, but Pant's future is set in Jeddah!
