Aaron Johnson and Navneet Dhaliwal are the two openers for Canada, while left-armer Shaheen Shah Afridi will open the bowling for Pakistan.
The first ball is a loosener, full toss on the pads, which Johnson clips through square leg for a boundary to get off the mark in confident fashion.
The next ball is again a full toss which Johnson drives straight down the ground past mid-off for another four.
He then hits the third ball uppishly straight for a couple of runs. Johnson misses the clip off the fifth ball which goes off the pads for leg byes.
The last ball is again a full toss as Dhaliwal can't make most, driving it to the fielder in the covers.
Naseem Shah to bowl the second over. He starts with a wide before Johnson continues his bright start as he cuts a short wide delivery over point for his third four, from six balls faced.
Naseem gets the ball to move away as Johnson defending inside the line is beaten. He plays and misses again but this time Pakistan are interested in the caught behind appeal which is turned down.
Johnson offers no shot to the next two balls before Naseem bowls a beauty, getting the ball to move away quite a bit and go past the outside edge.
