Dravid sold for $500,000
January 08, 2011
Former India captain Rahul Dravid was purchased by Rajasthan Royals for $500,000 in Round 2 of the IPL Players' Auction.
Dravid captained Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2008 IPL, but has been left out of India's ODI and World Cup squad.
Sourav Ganguly was the first player to be unsold at the auction, with no franchise willing to buy him.
