Putting all speculation at rest, Cricket Association of Bengal president Jagmohan Dalmiya said Eden Gardens will host all seven home matches of Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premier League this season.
Dalmiya said he had been informed of the decision by KKR co-promoter Jay Mehta on Friday.
"There was speculation that this year two matches of the Kolkata Knight Riders may be shifted to Cuttack. We had informed KKR that a decision in this regard would have to be taken soon because the matches start from April 10 and the time at our disposal was rather short," Dalmiya said in a statement.
"On behalf of CAB, I have assured KKR of our best cooperation," Dalmiya added.
