3rd Test: India win toss, elect to bat

India won the toss and elected to bat against Australia in the third Test at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi on Wednesday.

Regular captain Anil Kumble is back to lead the home team after missing the last match due to a shoulder injury. He replaces the injured Harbhajan Singh, who was ruled out because of a sore toe.

Australia also made a single change from the squad that lost the second Test at Mohali. Stuart Clark, who missed the match because of injury, replaced Peter Siddle.

India lead the four-match series 1-0.

India: Anil Kumble (captain), Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (w/k), Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Amit Mishra.

Australia: Ricky Ponting (captain), Simon Katich, Matthew Hayden, Mike Hussey, Michael Clarke, Shane Watson, Brad Haddin (w/k), Cameron White, Brett Lee, Michael Johnson, Stuart Clark.
