232.34 - The difference between the bowling averages of Indian pacers and spinners during Australia's first innings. Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh and Virender Sehwag conceded 251 runs while picking up just one wicket, while Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma accounted for 9 wickets which cost them just 168 runs.

70.60 - Hussey's batting average after Friday's innings. Among the batsmen who have played at least 25 innings only Don Bradman averages more.

56 -  No. of times Kumble has conceded 100 runs in a Test innings - more than any other bowler in Test history. He was earlier at level with Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan with 55 instances.

2.86 - Australia's run-rate. This is the first time since 1998-99 that Australia's run-rate was below 3 in an innings of 400 or more.

2 - No. of times Kumble has gone wicketless in an innings at home after conceding 100 runs. Overall this was the sixth such instance. India has never won a Test in which this has happened.

1 - Zaheer Khan's five-wicket hauls on Indian soil. All other five hauls have come on foreign soil.
