Hayden to miss rest of WI tour

Australia opening batsman Matthew Hayden will miss the remainder of the Test series against West Indies after failing to recover from an Achilles tendon injury, a team spokesman said on Wednesday.

Hayden, who missed the first Test won by Australia by 95 runs at Sabina Park in Kingston on Monday, will return home for treatment.

The second of the three-Test series starts in Antigua on Friday.
