India 'C' skipper Mithali Raj dazzled with a brilliant 103, which helped her team defeat India 'B' by 163 runs and enter the final of the women's Challenger Trophy tournament in Mumbai on Monday.
India 'C' compiled 254 for 6 in the allotted 50 overs and then dismissed the opposition for 91 in 39.5 overs.
Electing to bat, India 'C' lost opener Jaya Sharma for naught, but Mithali joined Karuna Jain and put together 53 for the second wicket before Jain fell to left-arm spinner Gouhar Sultana for 24.
After Anjum Chopra (21) was bowled by Sultana, Mithali Raj and Devika Palshikar (53) tailored a quick-fire 120-run partnership off 125 balls to take their team to a good total.
Mithali smashed 13 hits to the fence in her splendid knock.
The India 'B' bowling looked below par and did not threaten at any stage.
India 'C' continued their domination in the field as well, with Niranjana scalping three for 33, and Seema Pujare and Lalitha Sharma contributing with two wickets each to demolish the rival batting line-up.
India 'B' lost three early wickets for 20 runs and could not recover as five batters failed to open their accounts.
