Statistical highlights: Mohali Test, Day IV

Statistical highlights on the fourth day of the second and final cricket Test between India and England in Mohali on Monday.

# VVS Laxman has averaged 16.25 in the series.

# Sachin Tendulkar has averaged 50-plus in his last two Test series - 56.57 against Australia and 52.00 against England, both in 2008-09.

# Gambhir, with 308 at an average of 102.66, is the leading run-getter in the current series.

# In the last six Test series, only once Rahul Dravid has recorded a series average of 40-plus - 178 (ave.44.50) in the three-Test series against South Africa in 2007-08. Against England in the 2008-09 series, his average is 35.75 - 143 in four innings.

# Harbhajan has now claimed 60 wickets or more in a calendar three times - 60 wickets (average 25.95) in 12 Tests in 2001, 63 (average 23.22) in 13 Tests in 2002 and 63 in 13 Tests at an average of 31.14 in 2008.

# Only South Africas's Dale Steyn has taken more wickets than Harbhajan in 2008 - 64 at 20.73 runs apiece in 12 Tests.

# Harbhajan's figures of 4 for 68 is his second best at Mohali - his best being 5 for 51 against England in 2001-02.

# With 3 for 76 in England's first innings, Zaheer Khan has taken his tally of wickets to 197 at an average of 33.98. He is now all set to complete his 200 Test wickets on Tuesday.

# Sehwag's aggregate of 1462 in 2008 is now an Indian record in a calendar year.

 # For the second time in his career, Sehwag has been dismissed as 'run out' - the first instance being against Pakistan at Bangalore in March 2005 - 38 (Abdul Razzaq).

# Rahul Dravid's 8th duck in Test is his first against England.

# Dravid (136 & 0) became the 13th Indian batsman to register a hundred and a duck in the same Test match. After Pankaj Roy, Vijay Manjrekar, Dilip Vengsarkar and Virender Sehwag, Dravid is the fifth Indian batsman to register a century and a duck in the same Test match against England.
