Yuvraj to play Ranji match against Bengal

Yuvraj Singh, who failed to find a place in the Indian team for the first and second Tests against Pakistan, has been allowed to play Ranji Trophy matches for Punjab.

Yuvraj will play against Bengal at Siliguri in the four-day elite group match which begins on Saturday. He will fly to Siliguri later today.

Yuvraj, who was the 12th man in the first Test at the Ferozshah Kotla Test, was left out in the second Test at the Eden Gardens too as the team management retained the winning squad.
