The third and final one-day international between India and Bangladesh, in Chittagong on Tuesday, was called off because of wet ground conditions.

The umpires for the match, Bangladesh's Enamul Haque Moni and Sri Lanka's Ashoka, had three inspections of the ground, which took a heavy beating following heavy overnight rain and a steady drizzle in the morning, and decided that play would not be possible because of unplayable and overcast conditions.

After meeting with the two captains, Rahul Dravid and Habibul Bashar, at 1230 IST they decided to call off the match.

India won the first two matches of the series in Dhaka by five wickets and 46 runs respectively.
