The Indian players have refused to sign new contracts that were handed over to them by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, according to reports on Friday.

In the new contracts the BCCI has linked the payment for players with their performance during the matches. The BCCI has also put a limit on the number of endorsements the players can do.

The reports also said the BCCI will discuss and resolve the issue after the upcoming tour of Bangladesh.

No player has been paid the match fee or the retainership fee since the old contract expired in September 2006, the reports added.
