India crushed Pakistan by an innings and 240 runs in the second and final 'Test' to sweep the under-19 series 2-0 in Peshawar on Friday.
After compiling a mammoth 611 for 9, the Indian juniors bowled out Pakistan for 154 and 217 to complete victory with a day to spare, at the Arbab Niazi stadium.
Resuming at 109 for six in their first innings, on the third day of the four-day match, Pakistan were done in by seamers Ishant Sharma (4-20) and Yo Mahesh (2-52), and leg-spinner captain Piyush Chawla (2-32).
The only solid innings came from Moin-ud-Din, who scored 53.
In the second innings, the home side was routed by left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem (3-53) and Chawla (3-72). Sumeet Sharma claimed two wickets for 12.
Riaz Kail waged a valiant battle, scoringĀ a fighting 83 from 112 balls, inclusive of 14 fours and a six.
No 10 batsman Raza Rehman remained unbeaten on a dour 48 off 87 balls while opener Shaan Masood scored 27.
The Indian innings evolved around a sparkling 220 by Tanmay Srivastava and 146 from skipper Chawla.
India won the first 'Test' in Rawalpindi by 271 runs.
The teams now play a four-match one-day series from September 19, in Lahore.
