Ryan Hinds's unbeaten 117 earned a five-wicket victory for the University of the West Indies Vice-Chancellor's XI in a high-scoring tour match against Zimbabwe on Wednesday.
Barbados captain Hinds helped the Vice-Chancellor's XI reach their target of 325 with 3.5 overs to spare.
Zimbabwe scored 324 for five in a match played at the pint-sized Jolly Beach Cricket Ground.
Chadwick Walton assisted Hinds in the run chase with 67 not out after Xavier Marshall's 54 had given the hosts a solid start.
Medium pacer Anthony Ireland completed figures of three for 52, but the other Zimbabwe bowlers suffered.
Zimbabwe's total was built around opener Piet Rinke's 113, Brendan Taylor's 80 and Charles Coventry's 54.
All-rounder Richard Kelly, who is expected to make his international debut in the current series against West Indies, took two for 46.
Wednesday's loss followed Zimbabwe's defeats in the first two one-day internationals in St John's over the weekend.
The third game of the seven-match series will be played in Georgetown on Saturday.
