A heartbreaking 39-run defeat in the first one-dayer notwithstanding, the England cricket team took time out to visit Taj Mahal in Agra on Wednesday.

The players, who came in batches to see the world heritage monument that symbolises love, were accompanied by their wives.

The private security men engaged by the England Cricket Board, however, kept the media men and the fans at a distance.

The tourists had conceded India a 1-0 lead with the loss at Ferozeshah Kotla in Delhi yesterday.

They play the second of seven-match series at Faridabad on Friday.
