Ganguly suffers another setback

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly's comeback bid suffered a setback on Thursday when he was dismissed for a first-ball duck in a premier domestic limited-overs competition.

Opening the batting for East Zone against North in Jaipur, he was caught behind off medium-pacer Joginder Sharma. East lost by 52 runs.

It has been a forgettable fortnight for the Bengal cricketer. Dropped from the national team for the first two home Tests against England, he was also criticised by coach Greg Chappell in a British newspaper.

In an earlier round of the Deodhar Trophy against Central Zone, Ganguly made a scratchy 17 and was then struck for a match-winning six by Dishant Yagnik off the last ball of the match.
