India's debutant left-arm seamer Rudra Pratap Singh on Sunday said he tried to keep things simple by concentrating on bowling in the right areas in the second Test against Pakistan in Faisalabad.

"I tried to bowl in the right areas. All the seniors in the team helped me," said the Uttar Pradesh pace bowler who returned the best figures from among the five frontline bowlers used by India for the first time in nearly six years.

Rudra Pratap was the lone bowler not to concede in excess of 100 runs during the run-glut and also bowled a fine spell today of 8 overs for 12 runs and one wicket. He ended up with impressive figures of 4 for 89.
