The five-member National Selection Committee will meet in Mohali on October 28 to name the Indian team for the third, fourth and fifth one-day internationals against the visiting Sri Lankan side to be played at Jaipur, Pune and Ahmedabad.
According to selection committee chairman Kiran More, the 15-member team will be announced after the Mohali ODI on October 28. While the third match is scheduled to be played at Jaipur on October 31, Pune and Ahmedabad will host the next two games on November 3 and 6.
Earlier, the selection committee had named 15 players for the first two of the seven-match
ODI series against Sri Lanka under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid after Sourav Ganguly reported unfit and opted out of the Challenger Trophy in Mohali.
With Ganguly making a comeback by successfully leading the East Zone in the Duleep Trophy against the North with a fine individual performance in Rajkot, he is likely to be considered for selection at the Mohali meeting.
