Baroda earn first innings lead

Baroda bundled out hosts Andhra for 204 and bagged two points by virtue of their first innings lead on the final day of the Elite Group B Ranji Trophy cricket match played in Anantapur on Saturday.

Resuming at 57 for 3, the valiant effort of Ambati Rayudu (87) was not enough for the home team who conceded a lead of 58 runs.

Baroda in the second innings, were 186 for 4 at close of play.

The weather played spoilsport as the first two days were badly affected by rain.
