India's skipper Rahul Dravid is down with gastroenteritis and will not play in the third cricket Test against Sri Lanka, starting on Sunday, in Ahmedabad.

Virender Sehwag will lead the team.

Team India's media manager Wing Commander M Baladitya, speaking to news persons at 1830 hrs, said, "Dravid hasn't shown any improvement since morning. He is weak and will not be able to play in the Test."

Baladitya said Dravid is on liquid diet and still on intravenous fluid.

"He will stay back and not return home."

Baladitya also informed that Mohammad Kaif and Wasim Jaffer have been included in the 12 for the match.

He said the playing eleven will be decided on Sunday morning after coach Greg Chappell meets with selection committee chairman Kiran More.

Dravid was taken to a local hospital at around 2330 IST on Friday after complaining of vomiting, chillness, throat infection and body ache and was put on an intravenous drip at an Ahmedabad hospital.
