Rahul Dravid missed his hundred by a run in the Karachi one-dayer when he chopped a Shoaib Akhtar delivery onto his stumps.

In missing out on the milestone, he became only the third Indian and 19th batsman in ODI history to record a score of 99.

England's Geoff Boycott was the first batsman to suffer this fate, whereas Sri Lanka's Sanath Jayasuriya is the only one to appear in the following list twice. Six batsmen have remained unbeaten on 99.

Krishnamachari Srikkanth and VVS Laxman are the other Indians in this exclusive club.
