Pakistan won the under-19 World Cup, beating the West Indies by 25 runs in the final in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on Friday.
Replying to Pakistan's total of 230 for 9, the West Indies were bowled out for 205 with 11 balls remaining in the match. They lost six wickets for 61 runs, the last four for a mere eight.
Openers Xavier Marshall and Tishan Maraj put on 69 runs but their dismissals triggered off a slide in the West Indies innings.
A half-century partnership between Jonathan Augustus and Dinesh Ramdin saw the West Indies claw back before a spate of run-outs tilted the match in Pakistan's favour.
Asif Iqbal hit the only half-century of the final while spinners Tariq Mahmood - a Muthiah Muralitharan clone -- and Jahangir Mirza spun the Windies out.
Earlier in the day, Asif Iqbal and Salman Qadir repaired the Pakistan innings, after they were tottering at 81 for 4, with a 97-run partnership.
