A day after two of the five 'missing' women cricketers resurfaced, the manager and coach of the touring cricket team Ravi Sharma appealed to the remaining three girls to return.

"I want the other three girls also to come back and not spoil their life. I have no idea where they are and they have not contacted me," Sharma said.

Rajwant Kaur and Parvesh Rani who rejoined the team yesterday merely said that "we had gone on our own volition and we have come back on our own."

Declining to say more on the issue they said "we would not like to say anything more than this."

Asked about the whereabouts of the other three players - Mandeep Virk, Baljeet Kaur and Ekta Andotra - Parvesh said she had no idea about them.

Both Rajwant and Parvesh said they had informed their parents about their well being here.

"We have told them that we are fine."

Sharma said though the girls were not in touch with him, a solicitor of Baljeet and Ekta had contacted him two days back and offered him an amount of 1600 pounds for giving back their passport.

But he said he declined the offer.

Sharma said the team had played two matches on August 10 and 11 and the day (Aug 12) the girls vanished was the team's rest day.

He said following this development they could not play any other match.

Sharma said he was pained to read reports in some Indian newspapers that said the Interpol was likely to arrest the missing cricketers.

"Where is the case? I had informed the missing persons unit as soon as the five girls had disappeared and the police here have been appreciative of my cooperation."

He said the Jalandhar police have been "harassing" his family including his wife, his elder brother and other members.

He said he would take up the issue with higher authorities.

Refuting all charges levelled against him Ravi Sharma said, "I am a cricketer and coach. I love and respect these girls like my daughters."
