Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, India's second largest public sector oil company has signed up fast bowler Zaheer Khan to endorse its lube brands.
Announcing the agreement, KR Shankaran, executive director (direct sales), HPCL said, Zaheer will be endorsing the company's premium 4-stroke engine oil -- HP Racer 4 -- through 'mass media communication' and a variety of 'below-the-line' activities.
Zaheer would be the second sportsperson, in recent times, to endorse an HPCL brand.
The Fortune 500 company had earlier signed Sania Mirza to endorse its retail brands.
