Yes Bank on Thursday announced setting up of a full-fledged branch in the state that will cater to retail banking, wealth management and business banking products and services.

"The entire country, and particularly corporate India, needs to rally around the industry and people of Jammu and Kashmir. The Yes Bank branch in Srinagar will offer holistic financial solutions to the citizens, industry and government, and in addition will structure some unique products, especially to benefit the people of Kashmir," managing director and CEO, Yes Bank, Rana Kapoor said in Srinagar.

He said the bank, along with PHDCCI, has prepared a comprehensive report on the roadmap to investment in Jammu and Kashmir.

The bank has developed valuable expertise in areas relating to public-private partnership across the country.

While PPP as a most robust and commercially sustainable method of project development was relevant for most parts of the country, it assumes greater significance in Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
