Internet communications and media firm Yahoo! has promoted Neville Taraporewalla as country manager of its subsidiary Yahoo! India with immediate effect.
Prior to the appointment, he was director sales and business strategy of the portal, Yahoo! India said in a release in Mumbai on Monday.
Taraporewalla, who succeeds Darren Gocher, would be responsible for the management of Yahoo! India's portal and to increase business opportunities for it in the country.
