Word cloud: PM Modi's address at 'Digital India' dinner meet

September 27, 2015

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed top CEOs of Silicon Valley at the Digital India dinner met.

During his speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised on the need to use information technology to set up smart cities.

“In this digital age, we have an opportunity to transform lives of people in ways that was hard to imagine just a couple of decades ago. I see technology as a means to empower and as a tool that bridges the distance between hope and opportunity,” Modi said.

Internet access means content should be in local languages, Modi said.

“Digital India is enterprise for India's transformation, on a scale which's perhaps unmatched in history,” the prime minister said.

Rediff.com did a word cloud analysis (see the image below) of the prime minister’s speech. The words that appeared more often in the speech included India, digital, technology and new.
