Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd, the Internet services provider, has launched a corporate data product, 'Tata Indicom Bandwidth-On-Demand' for its leased line customers in the country.

The new data product enables leased line users to double their bandwidth capacity within a 48-hour timeframe, enabling them to undertake and execute new projects, a VSNL release said on Tuesday.

This enables customers to meet their requirements for provisioning "bandwidth on short-term contracts" for as low as seven days, resulting in savings opportunity and tapping of new businesses, it said.

The Tata group company has also set up an automated online process to handle bandwidth upgradation requests, which also provides access to customers to view their account information, it added.
