The government on Wednesday said it has not taken any decision on going in for vote-on-account and the issue did not come up for discussion at the Union Cabinet meeting in New Delhi.
"Vote-on-account was not discussed in today's meeting of the Union Cabinet", Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said.
She was responding to a query whether the Cabinet has decided on such an exercise in the face of reports of an early Lok Sabha elections.
