US Commercial Service, the nodal agency for identifying business prospects and partners in the US, has been successful in working out 600 business deals for the Indian companies in the past one year.
"The service has the expertise to render help in any sector to make the process of doing business in US painless and efficient," Commercial Consul, US Consulate General, Mumbai, Richard Rothman, said while making a presentation at the 70th annual general meeting of the Maratha Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture.
So far we have seen over 600 deals worked in India through the US Commercial Service, he said.
"We can help you if you are a manufacturer or an exporter and also in importing technologies and products from US. But there is a precondition for exporting to US -- you have to be an importer too to export," Rothman said.
