The market has moved with an upward gap (intra-day), has come off its intra-day high and has finally ended the day in negative territory. Consumer Durables, Metals, Auto, IT, Oil, Capital Goods, Healthcare & PSU's have ended positive in varying degrees while Banks & FMCG have ended in negative territory. Volume registered a noticeable decrease (read as turnover) while the undertone seemed subdued.

Review/Outlook - The Sensex has reflected short term weakness by not being able to sustain itself at higher levels to come off from its intra-day high and has finally ended in negative territory on distinctly lower volume. Volatility can be the order of the day, the negatives of the last trading session might just spill over to today's trading session indicating the possibility of a minor intra-day downside especially below the 14144 level while support comes in at the 14090 level.
