With former Satyam Computer chairman B Ramalinga Raju continuing to 'abstain' from judicial proceedings in the multi-crore accounting scam, a special court on Friday issued a reminder to the hospital treating him to submit a report by April 23 on his health condition.

Raju, the prime accused in the financial fraud at the IT firm (now Mahindra Satyam) who is undergoing treatment for Hepatitis-C at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences  in Hyderabad, has not been attending the court proceedings since September last year citing health reasons.

B V L N Chakravarti, additional chief metropolitan magistrate presiding over the court trying the scam, had asked the NIMS on Monday to furnish details of Raju's health condition with copies of daily case sheets and medical examinations conducted on him since March 31 for verification by the court on Friday.

However, no report was filed before the court on Friday.

The judge then issued a reminder to NIMS director to submit a report by April 23 without fail and adjourned the hearing.

The court wants to examine all the accused, including Raju, in regard to allegations mentioned against them by the CBI in two separate chargesheets before commencing the trial.

Meanwhile, the CBI, probing the scam which came to light in January last year, has decided to file an application before the court on April 23, seeking speedy trial.
