Another Wipro techie commits suicide

A day after a woman employee of Wipro Technologies allegedly committed suicide, another software engineer of the firm was found dead at his residence here on Tuesday morning, police said.

The deceased, identified as Prince Singla (27), a native of Rajasthan, was a bachelor and staying alone in a rented house in Ponnappan Agrahara locality of the city, they said.

The incident came to light when Singla's relatives, worried over him not answering their calls on his mobile, contacted his friends. They alerted the police and broke open the door of his house this morning only to find him hanging from the ceiling.

No suicide note was found near the body, police said. Lakshmi Nair, a 23 year-old software engineer hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, ended her life on Monday by hanging herself at her residence.
