Tata Iron and Steel Company on Monday decided to issue bonus shares in the ratio of 1:2, subject to shareholders' approval.
The board, which met on Monday, decided to issue one bonus share for every two held, the Tata Group company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The record date for the bonus issue would be fixed later, the company said.
