Congress president Sonia Gandhi asked on Monday the government to keep the prices of essential commodities under check.
Party sources said Gandhi gave this advice while addressing the general body meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party, its valedictory meeting in the budget session of Parliament which will conclude on May 23.
