Singapore Airlines is planning to augment its operations in Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore and tapping certain secondary markets in India.
"We are keen on increasing operations in Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore, but much will depend upon the air-service agreement to be signed between the two countries," B K Ong, general manager SIA, India, told reporters in Bangalore on Wednesday.
"Talks are on between both the governments but we will have to wait and watch," he said.

SIA, which will be completing two years of its operations in Bangalore in August, was keen on increasing the current frequency of thrice-a-week to operating its flight on a daily basis, Ong said.
Stating that there was a huge demand for more flights in Bangalore, he said most of the flights were operating to their optimum capacity throughout the year.
On the issue of secondary markets, he said, currently, SIA was operating in Ahmedabad and Amritsar.
"We are not looking at any specific secondary market but are waiting for the markets to grow before beginning operations in these markets", he said.
Currently, SIA operates 41 weekly flights to India, including 14 to Mumbai (twice a day), daily flights to Delhi and Chennai and three flights to Bangalore, Kolkatta, Ahmedabad and Amritsar.
In addition, SIA's subsidiary, Silk Air, operates 12 flights a week to Hyderabad, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
