Anand Jain, a key confidant of Reliance chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani, has not quit the board of the group's petrochemical company IPCL contrary to media reports.
Repots had suggested that Jain had resigned on June 18, the day of settlement of the ownership issues in the Reliance empire as part of which Mukesh retained RIL and IPCL while his younger brother Anil got Reliance Infocomm, Reliance Energy and Reliance Capital.
