Earlier, he met Finance Minister P Chidambaram in his North Block office and Home Minister Shivraj Patil at his residence.
Anil also met Union Telecommunications and IT Minister Dayanidhi Maran.
Anil Ambani's one-to-one meeting with Chidambaram lasted for about 45 minutes, but it was not known what transpired between them.
He refused to answer reporters' queries, while emerging out of the finance minister's office, and said they should come to Mumbai to talk to him.
Anil also met Patil at the latter's residence and was closetted with him for about 30 minutes.
Anil, who now controls Reliance Infocomm following a settlement reached with his brother, also met IT and Telecommunications Minister Dayanidhi Maran.
Even as both Maran and Anil refused to comment on their 50-minute long discussion, it is widely believed that the operations of Infocomm, the country's largest private wireless telecom operator with 11.52 million subscribers, figured in the talks among various other issues.
Infocomm has already paid a penalty Rs 150 crore (Rs 1.5 billion) to the government for re-routing international calls as local ones. Besides, it has paid Rs 182 crore (Rs 1.82 billion) to BSNL for non-payment of access-deficit charge.
The company is currently carrying out a change in its management and board following the change of ownership and is looking for a replacement of its chief operating officer Kamal Nanavaty, who would relocate to Reliance Industries.
Infocomm earned a net profit of Rs 51 crore (Rs 510 million) in fiscal 2005 against a loss of Rs 391 crore (Rs 3.91 billion) in the year before.
After an intense battle of nerves with his elder brother Mukesh, which lasted for more than six months over the control of the Reliance empire, Anil secured Reliance Energy and Reliance Capital besides Reliance Infocomm as per the settlement worked out between both the brothers.
