Reliance Infocomm on Tuesday said that its tariff plans announced for the Reliance IndiaMobile service will be non-discriminatory and fully compliant with the regulatory framework, including the IUC (interconnect usage charges) regime of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.

Reliance Infocomm further said that there will be no change in its tariff plans under the Dhirubhai Ambani Pioneer Offer and customers can continue to make STD calls on the Reliance IndiaMobile network at 40 paise per minute.

However, as communicated earlier, customers would be required to pay off-net charges payable to other operators.

The Reliance clarification came soon after the telecom regulator said that the company was yet to submit revised tariff package and asserted that no discrimination between subscribers of different network would be permitted.
