Journalists and camerapersons can file their income tax returns at special counters being set at Press Information Bureau in Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi, during September 24-26.
The Income Tax department on Tuesday decided to set up special counters at PIB to receive returns from mediapersons for three days starting September 24 from 10.30 a.m., an official release said.
Special counters have been set up in Mayur Bhawan and Pragati Maidan for facilitating pensioners and salaried persons to file their income tax returns from September 23-30.
The last date for filing the returns for assessment year 2003-04 is September 30.
