Bharti Tele-ventures has reported a 59% decline in net profit at Rs 11 lakh (Rs 1.1 million) for the quarter ended September 30, 2003 as against Rs 27 lakh (Rs 2.7 million) in Q2FY03.
Total income increased 870% to Rs 7.47 crore (Rs 74.7 million) from Rs 77 lakh (Rs 7.7 million) in SQ02, according to a release issued to the BSE on Thursday.
The group has posted a profit after tax before unusual items of Rs 87.22 crore (Rs 872.2 million) for the quarter ended September 30, 2003 and total revenue of Rs 1,144.46 crore (Rs 11.44 billion) in the quarter ended September 30, 2003, the release added.
